Interested in Cub Scouting?  Come see what scouting is all about at Pack 1950’s next pack meeting being held in the Lake Villa-Antioch Township Center on the third Wednesday of each month at 7:00 p.m.  For the next pack meeting location, please see the home page of this web site.

If you like what you see, please let a leader know at the Pack meeting.  Boys in first through fourth grade are welcome to join the pack.

Parents: Sign up your son with Pack 1950 and have fun participating with one of the most organized Cub Scout packs in Lake County. We are a small pack with great organization and communication skills. Our pack is very active and provides the boys with the opportunity to participate in many fun, exciting and educational activities including:

  • Outdoor and indoor camping
  • Community service projects
  • Council sponsored scouting events (such as Wolves hockey, day camp and weekend camping)
  • Pinewood Derby (model car building and racing)
  • Pack awards and scout advancements
  • Summer Pack picnic
  • Lindenfest parade
  • Astrovernight at Adler Planetarium
  • Sleeping with the Fishes at Shedd Aquarium
  • Den meetings and monthly pack meetings
  • And Much More!

Pack 1950 is sponsored by Serbian Brothers Help. which is located 1/2 mile west of Route 45 on Grand Ave.  The Serbian Brothers property includes a beautiful “Pack 1950 scout area” that borders Fourth Lake. We use this area for pack events such as camping, picnics and campfires.

Our pack is very family oriented. Parents are strongly encouraged to take an active role in their son’s scouting experience. Also, the entire family is invited to participate in most of our pack activities. </address>
